Period and Pregnancy

I know in a previous post I have put that I would wait until the 25th October to do a Pregnancy Test, well I have aready done one. The night before last I started to have the stomach cramps that are associated with my period, then sure enough an hour later came the period. Do Period and pregnancy go together ? – there are mixed opinions about this. At first it was light so I was still hopeful, but then it has gone on to be a normal sort of flow but a bit browny sometimes. (I know, I know too much detail, sorry). I decided to do a pregnancy test anyway yesterday, because I have heard so many people say that you can still be pregnant and have your period. I have heard stories about period and pregnancy – women who have had their period for the whole nine months and never even knew that they were pregnant. However, my test was negative.

I couldn’t help being a bit down about it yesterday, but back on track now and this could be the month. We are getting my husband tested next week to check everythings working ok there (I got prodded and poked a few weeks ago) and then I am going back to the docs to get a referal letter to go and see someone who works with couples and fertility.

Bottom line – I AM NOT GIVING UP!
