Side effects of Clomid

As you all know I am on my second month of Clomid, well the side effects are a nightmare. To be honest, I didn’t realise that they were related to the Clomid the first month, but this month it’s confirmed it. Prior to ovulation I feel drained, exhausted and I need a lot more sleep than I normally need. The only way I can describe it is to how you feel during the first trimester of pregnancy. When I felt this way on the first month of Clomid I thought I had a bug or was just exhausted after running around sorting Christmas. The good thing is that it only lasts about 2 days.

Then whilst I am ovulating my stomach is so bloated and uncomfortable – it’s horrible. I can only wear loose clothes, I can’t bear anything tight accross my stomach. I actually feel about 3 months pregnant! Not only feel that way, I look pregnant, according to my husband. Don’t you just love how men always say the right thing! This goes on for 3 or 4 days.

Please let me be pregnant this month – I don’t want to have to take Clomid again!
